PASTURE BOARDING

A pasture boarded horse is kept in the pasture at all times. Pastures have run-in sheds for shelter. Blanketing service is not included. Blanketing can be performed for an additional fee of $10 per incident, in the event the Boarder or his/her agent is unable to come to the farm to perform the task. The Horse is fed grain twice per day and has free choice access to grass and/or hay. Supplements will be provided if supplied by Boarder in one serving individual containers (e.g. baggies or SmartPaks). Catching for the farrier is not included. If Boarder is unavailable to perform this duty, a $10 fee will be charged for this service. If the horse must be held for the farrier and does not stand in cross ties, or requires sedation, the fee is $20.

PASTURE BOARDING | HAY + WATER ONLY

Boarder represents and warrants that, except if explicitly stated in writing, the Horse is free from vices and behaviors which could endanger it, other horses, or persons. If Boarder’s Horse cribs, Boarder shall ensure the Horse wears an effective collar or muzzle at all times. The stabling facilities to be provided for the Horse shall consist of Pasture Board- Limited Availability (Rate/Month: $350/m HAY & WATER ONLY – NO GRAIN OR HANDLING of horse.)

STALL BOARDING

A stall boarded horse is turned out by group in a pasture during the day and is brought into the barn at night (or vice versa, dependent on season). Blanketing service is included. The Horse is fed grain twice per day and has free choice access to hay, or as deemed appropriate for the Horse’s nutritional needs by the manager. Supplements will be provided if supplied by Boarder in one serving individual containers (e.g. baggies or SmartPaks). Catching the horse for the farrier is provided. If the horse must be held for the farrier and does not stand in cross ties, or requires sedation, there is a fee of $20.
